Presidential adviser Daniel Bwala has taken to social media to mock Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, following a photo that surfaced of him relaxing in the business class of an airplane.

Sharing the photo on his X page, Bwala captioned it “I don’t fly business class, I fly economy @PeterObi”.

His post garnered various reactions from netizens who trooped to his comment section to share their thoughts.

An X user @MaaziEzeoke commented that, “He doesn’t fly business class on local routes since most flights are under an hour. However, he clarified that he flies business class (most time upgraded) on long-haul trips—just like many of us do on the same routes.”

In response, Bwala insisted that Peter Obi lied to the people to gain sympathy and support. “Maazi my man, I get your point but I have numerous video clips where he said he doesn’t fly business even on long haul flights, but that his wife does and he allows her. He has also on numerous occasions said he wears Marks and Spencer shoes and clothing, but I have personally met him at Louis Vuitton at T5, London where he shopped items including shoes for himself in 2018. This was after we met earlier in the day at the residence of Prince Arthur Eze in London. Anyway, I go gist you about the rest on phone later today.”

However, a staunch supporter of Peter Obi, identified as Bucos, slammed Bwala over his criticism of the former Anambra State Governor.

He explained that Peter Obi was appointed the Chairman of Fidelity Bank years ago, which allows him preferential treatment while on board.

Bucos further cautioned Bwala and APC critics to be wary of their criticisms of Obi.

“Peter Obi was the Chairman of Fidelity Bank for several years. courtesy demands he is given a preferential treatment in jet hired by Fidelity Bank as boldly seen on the seats of the aircraft. no matter how una try, a peacock can't be of the same level with pigeon.

2. We know Peter Obi's real name

3. We know his direct siblings

4.We have seen his biological parent's pictures.

5. We know the primary and secondary schools he attended and we know his classmates including his seniors.

6. We have his real DOB, know to virtually everyone in his cycle. Not that some groups in Nigeria av a particular DOB and those abroad have another.

7. We know Peter Obi's ancestral town, he didn't send emissaries to bury his father just to cover a political loophole. Note to the jagabandits : before you throw mud at @PeterObi, pls watch your hands.”
