The Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has tackled Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna, stating that he lacks the influence to “unsettle” President Bola Tinubu.
Bwala said this in an interview with TVC News on Thursday, February 6, 2025, asserting that El-Rufai does not have the capacity to even win a seat in the Nigerian Senate.
He pointed out that President Tinubu is not bothered about El-Rufai’s ongoing criticisms of his administration.
According to Bwala, El-Rufai only becomes politically significant when aligning with a strong, revolutionary leader.
He added that; “Let me tell you something about my elder brother, El-Rufai, and whether we should be concerned.
“There’s a dynamic around him. El-Rufai needs a solid revolutionary figure to thrive. On his own, El-Rufa’i might not even secure a Senate seat.”
