Nigerian midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has touted his Super Eagles compatriot Victor Osimhen as one of the best strikers in the world.

Osimhen, 26, is currently on loan at Galatasaray, having joined the club in early September following his failed move to Chelsea in the summer.

The Nigerian striker has adapted seamlessly to the Turkish Super Lig, becoming the mainstay in the club's attack.

The former Lille striker has managed 17 goals and five assists in 22 appearances for the Turkish champions across all competitions since joining the club.

Etebo described his Super Eagles compatriot as a player who gives everything for his team.

“Osimhen is one of the best strikers in the world. I think the football community also accepts this. I think he did a good thing by coming to Galatasaray,” Etebo told Milliyet.
