Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor have reportedly renewed their interest in signing Nigerian international Paul Onuachu.

The 30-year-old striker was on loan at the club last season, where he had a decent stint, scoring 17 goals in 25 appearances.

Despite Onuachu's impressive loan spell, the club couldn't meet Southampton's valuation to sign the player on a permanent deal.

The Saints demanded €15 million to sanction the transfer of the lanky striker.

It remains to be seen if Southampton will be willing to let go of the Super Eagles striker, who looks to be enjoying his football under new Saints manager Ivan Juric.

Onuachu scored the winner as Southampton beat Ipswich 2-1 away in the Premier League last Saturday.

It was the former Genk striker's second goal of the season.

The Turkish transfer window closes on February 11 which makes the move highly possible.
