Nigerian international Emmanuel Dennis has promised Blackburn Rovers fans to deliver good performances following his move.
The 27-year-old joined Rovers on a loan deal from Nottingham Forest on transfer deadline day after being cut from the team squad.
The former Watford striker has become the fourth Nigerian international to sign for the Blue and Whites, following in the footsteps of Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Dickson Etuhu, and Hope Akpan.
Dennis believes the Rovers faithful will have good times together.
“Rovers are in a very good position and the team plays good football, so I hope I can add a bit of something to the team for us to have a good time together,” he said to RoversTV after securing his switch.
“Goals are no problem, but I also like having fun, showing tricks, nutmegs, and exciting the fans because that’s what they come to the stadium to see. They come for fun, happy moments, and victories.
“People come from home to sit in the cold and watch us play, so you have to give them something.”
