Champions League: All qualified teams for last-16, knockout play-offs

The new phase of the prestigious UEFA Champions League concluded on Wednesday, January 29.

For the first time in the competition's history, 18 matches were played simultaneously across different venues as the curtain was drawn on the league phase.

At the end of the fixtures, the eight clubs that have secured automatic qualification to the round of 16 were confirmed.

The night also saw the confirmation of the 16 clubs that will head to the play-offs before qualifying for the last 16.

The eight qualified teams for the last 16 include Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Lille, and Aston Villa.

The 16 clubs that will be involved in the play-off round include Atalanta, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, AC Milan, PSV, PSG, Benfica, Monaco, Brest, Feyenoord, Juventus, Celtic, Man City, Sporting, and Club Brugge.

Meanwhile, the likes of Dinamo Zagreb, Stuttgart, Shakhtar Donetsk, Bologna, Red Star Belgrade, Sturm Graz, Sparta Prague, RB Leipzig, Girona, RB Salzburg, Slovan Bratislava, and Young Boys have all been eliminated from the competition.
