Nigerian international Nathan Tella was on the scoresheet as Bayer Leverkusen beat Sparta Prague in the final round of UCL league phase.
The 25-year-old scored in the 64th minute to seal a comfortable 2-0 victory for the Bundesliga title holders after Florian Wirtz had given them the lead in the first half.
It was the first UEFA Champions League goal for the one-capped Super Eagles star who was playing in the Sky Bet Championship two seasons ago.
Tella took to social media to expressed his delight after the game.
“Dreams come true,” the Arsenal academy product wrote on X.
