Veteran journalist Dele Momodu has reacted to a video of the police aggressively attempting to execute President Donald Trump's mass deportation of a migrant.
The video, which has since gone viral, showed the moment the migrant tried several times to dislodge the three police officers who were attempting to drag him out of his car.
As the policemen pulled on one arm to forcibly remove him, the driver used his other arm to steer the vehicle out from a tight spot after being blocked by two police officers.
Despite being tased by the officers, the immigrant managed to speed off, groaning in pain.
"Unbelievable!! Is this a movie? This page does not support VIOLENCE," Momodu said after sharing the video on his Instagram page.
Since assuming office on January 20, 2025, Trump announced and executed a flurry of immigration-related executive orders, paving the way for a widespread effort to crack down on undocumented migrants in the US.
In more than 21 actions, Trump has moved to overhaul parts of the US immigration system, including how migrants are processed and deported from the US.
The White House has since publicized some of these efforts. On Friday, the new White House Press Secretary shared images of deportation flights being carried out by military cargo planes.
