The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has reportedly dissolved his State Executive Council.
Aiyedatiwa was said to have retained two cabinet members from the recent changes, which include the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, and Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac.
This was made known in a statement issued by the governor's Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan.
He mentioned that the affected officials have been instructed to hand over all government properties to the accounting officers of their respective ministries.
Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude to the outgoing cabinet members for their contributions to the state's development during their tenure. He acknowledged their efforts and wished them well in their future endeavors.
The statement read: “All the affected cabinet members are to hand over all government properties in their care to the accounting officers of their respective ministries.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa thanked the EXCO members for their service and contributions to the development of Ondo State under his administration and wished them well in their future endeavours.”
