Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has successfully undergone surgery following his wrist injury.
The Super Eagles star injured his wrist during the Zebras' Serie A clash against Genoa last week.
The surgery was carried out by Doctor Loris Pegoli at the La Madonnina clinic in Milan on Monday, December 9, the club revealed in a statement on their website.
The former Watford shot-stopper will now start his recovery and is expected to be on the sidelines for a few weeks.
Okoye established himself as Udinese's number one goalkeeper last season after helping the club to avoid relegation.
He has made 14 appearances for the club this season.
