Nigerian international Ademola Lookman has urged his Atalanta teammates to put their recent impressive form behind them and focus on the crucial encounter against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

The Serie A leaders will host Los Blancos in the sixth-round fixture at the Gewiss Stadium later today (Tuesday, December 10).

The game will be the second meeting between the two sides this season after Real Madrid beat Atalanta 2-0 in the UEFA Super Cup back in August.

Atalanta are unbeaten in the UEFA Champions League this season and come into the game on the back of brilliant form in the Serie A.

Lookman, however, believes that Carlo Ancelotti's side will be a difficult opponent to beat.

“It will be a very difficult match for us tomorrow (today),” he was quoted by TMT.

“We will be very focused on how to set up the match. Tomorrow will be an additional challenge for us; what we have done in the past belongs to the past. Tomorrow we will have the opportunity to give our best.”
