Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has revealed his admiration for Nigerian international Alex Iwobi following the Gunners' draw away at Fulham on Sunday, December 8.

The Cottagers held Mikel Arteta's side to a 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage in the London Derby, with Iwobi producing an impressive performance for his side.

The Super Eagles midfielder's performance earned the praise of Arteta, who lauded his versatility and talent.

“I always liked him a lot. I thought that he had tremendous talent and a very special quality," Arteta said, as quoted by Metro UK.

“He has the capacity to play in different spaces and positions. I’m really happy to see him performing at this level.”

Iwobi has been in fine form for Fulham this season, scoring five goals in 15 appearances for the club in the Premier League.
