The head coach of Benin Republic has admitted that it will be a tough challenge for his side to defeat the Super Eagles in the upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifier.
Benin will welcome Nigeria to the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan, on Thursday, November 14, in what will be the penultimate game in the 2025 Nations Cup qualifiers.
The Super Eagles were 3-0 victors in the first encounter at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, courtesy of Ademola Lookman's brace, with Osimhen coming off the bench to add the third.
Despite beating the Super Eagles in the World Cup qualifiers in July, Rohr, who is Nigeria's longest-serving coach, believes it will be difficult to beat Augustine Eguavoen's side due to the availability of some key players.
“Repeating the feat of June is going to be complicated because Nigeria is now at full strength. But we believe in it,” he told Foot Africa.
Nigeria will take on Benin Republic on at 8:00 pm on Thursday.
