Peter Obi claims Bobrisky began crossdressing for financial reasons

Peter Obi, a former presidential candidate, has called on the federal government to leave entertainers out of the day-to-day politics of the country, especially crossdressers.

Obi made the comment in reaction to the challenges embattled crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, continues to face at the hands of lawmakers.

During an interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast, he insinuated that Bobrisky and most of his colleagues started cross-dressing for economic reasons.

The former Anambra State governor argued that more men would become crossdressers if the government decided to implement policies that favor women.

“When somebody told me about Bobrisky, I said ‘listen, these are entertainers that should not be brought into the polity.’

“It’s entertainment. If today, our government decides to say fuel is now N800 per litre but N400 per litre for females, the number of men that will wear female dresses will surprise you.

“So, let’s deal with our problems,” Obi said.
