Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has hailed his brilliant partnership with Argentine striker Mauro Icardi.
The duo led the lines as Galatasaray dispatched Besiktas 2-1 in the Super Lig on Monday, October 28.
Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sanchez scored the opener in the 13th minute before Osimhen added the second from a header in the 67th minute.
It was the 25-year-old's fourth goal in five league appearances for his new side.
In a post-match reaction, the Super Eagles striker disclosed that it will be very difficult for defenders to stop his partnership with Icardi.
“Icardi and I get along very well on the field. I have said this before. We work together in training. I know how experienced he is. Things he tells me happen,” the reigning African Footballer of the Year told the club's website.
“I try to apply them on the field. It is an honor for me to play with him. It is very difficult for any defense to block us. When they try to block me, sometimes they fail. When they try to block him, sometimes they fail. I am happy to be able to play with him.”
