Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has hailed his team's performance against Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig.

The 25-year-old was on target as Galatasaray beat Besiktas 2-1 at the Rams Park on Monday, October 28.

Former Tottenham Hotspurs defender Davison Sanchez scored the opener in the 13th minute before Osimhen added the second in the 67th minute.

Ernest Muci pulled a goal back for the visitors in the dying embers of the game.

Osimhen, who netted his fourth goal for Galatasaray expressed his excitement with the victory after the game.

“We were good in terms of play. We faced a team with talented players, especially forwards. I am happy with the goal contribution,” the Nigeria international told the club’s official website.

“This is important; but the team’s performance was more important. Now we need to continue by building on this momentum.”
