The new format of the UEFA Champions League is slowly taking shape following the conclusion of matchday three on Wednesday, October 23.
After the third round of matches, top clubs including Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, and AC Milan are all in danger of elimination.
The Bavarians are currently 23rd on the table with just three points after their 4-1 defeat to Barcelona at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. Vincent Kompany's side has now lost their last two matches to Aston Villa and Barcelona.
Atletico Madrid also suffered a shocking 3-1 defeat at home to Lille. Diego Simeone's side are currently 27th on the table with three points.
Seven-time winners AC Milan are also in 25th position following their 3-1 win against Club Brugge.
Premier League clubs Aston Villa, Liverpool, and Manchester City are currently at the apex of the UCL table.
