Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen marked his return from injury in scintillating fashion as he scored a superb goal in Galatasaray's triumph away at Antalyaspor in the Super Lig.

The 25-year-old scored a spectacular bicycle kick—a potential Puskas award contender—to seal Galatasaray's convincing 3-0 victory at Corendon Airlines Park, Antalya.

Osimhen, who came on as the last substitute for his side in the 79th minute, replacing Yunus Akgun, scored the stunner in the dying embers of the game for the Turkish champions.

In a latest development, it has emerged that Osimhen's wonder strike has entered the record books.

According to CNN Turk, the Super Eagles striker's superb hit was the second goal in the world to be scored from a height above 2.30 metres.

Osimhen's bicycle kick was scored from a height of 2.32 metres, only behind Cristiano Ronaldo's stunning kick against Juventus in the UEFA Champions League in 2018.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner's brilliant strike was executed from a height of 2.38 metres.
