French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have reignited their interest in Nigerian international Ademola Lookman.
The Parisians have struggled to find the back of the net since the departure of Frenchman Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid last summer.
According to reports, PSG believes Lookman is the missing piece in their attacking jigsaw.
Lookman, 26, has been in remarkable form since joining Atalanta from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2022 for a fee around the region of €9.35m, including bonuses.
The former Leicester City loanee has since hit the ground running, registering 33 goals and providing 20 assists in 81 competitive appearances for La Dea.
The Super Eagle was Atalanta’s standout performer last season, scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assists for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.
Lookman starred for Atalanta in the Europa League final after scoring a historic hat-trick against Bayer Leverkusen to guide the Serie A outfit to their first-ever European title.
His remarkable form has not gone unnoticed as he has drawn interest from several top clubs in Europe, including Juventus, Manchester United, and Liverpool.
According to Fichajes, Atalanta has placed an asking price of between €65m and €75m on Lookman to deter potential suitors in January.
It remains to be seen if PSG will launch an official bid for the 2024 Ballon d'Or nominee in the January transfer window.
