On-air personality Rufai Oseni has sent a heartfelt message to Ajuri Ngelale, the former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Bola Tinubu.

Ngelale recently resigned from the role as the Spokesperson to President Bola Tinubu, citing health reasons.

His decision to quit the role sent shock waves across the political space as Nigerians and members of the political community began to speculate on the likely reasons he left the role.

While conspiracy theories spiral around, Oseni, who disclosed his relationship with Ngelale, wished him the best as he dedicates more time to his family.

He noted that while there is a divided opinion about Ajuri's time at the presidency, his privacy must be respected at this time.

"People will have divided opinions about Ajuri and his time. I knew Ajuri personally, and he is somebody I talk to. The truth has to be said. Whatever we say, let's not forget that one health matter is involved. We need to be able to respect whatever it is. I know there are different sides to it. He has done his bit because we are all actors in the game of life."

"We should constantly think about what is said about us, so I am sure he will be able to have time to reflect on his time there. There are things he would feel he could have done better. I wish him well, I wish his family well. I can only pray for the best for him."

Regarding a replacement for Ajuri Ngelale, Oseni stressed that there won't be any need for a replacement as his roles clash with Bayo Onanuga, who is the Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy.

"And for his replacement, I do not think, with due respect, that Ajuri needs to be replaced because the roles were already clashing with those of Mr. Bayo Onanuga. Mr. Onanuga is equally a very experienced journalist," Oseni said.
