Bashir El-Rufai, the son of the former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has taken to social media to express concerns over the hardship that has crippled the entire country.
In a post, El-Rufai lamented how much a family man spends each day. He noted that a family man residing in Abuja spends nothing less than N100,000 every day.
He wrote on his X page: "Everyday costs you 100k in Abuja as a married man."
When asked by an X user how he copes, he acknowledged the support of his wife.
He wrote: “Double income household. God bless Madam.”
Nigerians have also expressed their concerns as the hardship worsens.
@ahmaad_ak: Need ₦3 million in a month? Wondering which jobs in Nigeria pay that much monthly?
@Onyekaa_Ezugwu: Some people are earning 30k a month in that Abuja, dear law maker.
@aduola_michael: That cost shouldn't bother you. Your dad through his enormous wealth gotten from people's sweat should be sufficient to cover up for a family man
@Melebroz1: If I were you, I would retract this message as it mocks those who are struggling to survive. Some hardworking men earn less than 50k a month, and some are even jobless.
@EngrRedox: Your dad and his clique are complicit to the hardship and inflation this useless and good-for-nothing criminal government has brought to us in just 1 year.
Everyday costs you 100k in Abuja as a family man.
