Nigerian defender Bright Osayi-Samuel has described his new boss, José Mourinho, as "scary but also very nice."
The Portuguese manager joined the Turkish Süper Lig side Fenerbahçe this summer after being sacked by AS Roma last season.
The 61-year-old has managed some of the best clubs in the world, including FC Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, and Manchester United.
Described by many as a controversial figure, Super Eagles defender Osayi-Samuel believes it is a great honor to work with the former Tottenham Hotspur manager.
“Mourinho is scary but also very nice. It is a great honor to work with him,” Osayi-Samuel said, per Fanatik.
“I want to learn the history of the players. He instills self-confidence in the player.
“I think I will learn a lot while working with him this year.”
Osayi-Samuel has made 140 appearances for Fenerbahçe since joining the club in 2021.
The 26-year-old has registered seven goals and 13 assists for the Yellow Canaries.
