Fatima Dangote, the daughter of billionaire Aliko Dangote has praised her father for his recent accomplishments in the oil sector.

During a media session held at the Dangote Petroleum Refinery in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, Fatima who is the Group Executive Director of Commercial Operations expressed her admiration for her father’s unwavering dedication to the Nigerian dream.

She emphasized the need for more visionary leaders in the country and believes that their combined efforts could greatly improve Nigeria’s future.

“I have not seen anyone as hardworking as my father, sometimes I wonder how he never gives up.

“I wish we have a few more men like my father in Nigeria, the country will be a better place."

Aliko Dangote, Nigeria's richest man, made the news recently. He revealed that he does not own a house in America or the United Kingdom.

According to the businessman, owning a home outside his country will distract him from his focus on making Nigeria an industralisation hub.

“The reason I don’t have a London or American house is solely because I wanted to focus on industrialisation in Nigeria.

“I figured that if I had those houses, there would be one reason or another for me to visit those places, thereby causing distraction for me.

“I am very passionate about the Nigerian dream, and apart from my Lagos house, I have another one in my home state, Kano, and a rented one in Abuja,” he said while speaking to the media at the Dangote Petroleum Refinery in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State.
