France captain Kylian Mbappe has officially been unveiled as Real Madrid player in front of over 80, 000 jubilant Madridistas at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Mbappe's unveiling matched Cristiano Ronaldo's record as the most attended player presentation after the Portuguese star joined Los Blancos from Manchester United in 2009.
Both superstars had more than 80,000 fans attending their official unveiling.
Diego Maradona's presentation after joining Sevilla follows closely in third place with 70,000 fans in attendance back in 1992.
Among some of the famous sports personalities who graced the occasion was former Real Madrid manager and player Zinedine Zidane and American boxing star Floyd Mayweather Junior.
Speaking after his unveiling, the former PSG star stated that the transfer is a dream come true.
"I have dreamed for many years of playing for Real Madrid, and today my dream comes true. I am a happy boy. I want to thank President Florentino Pérez."
"I see my whole family right now, and my mom who is crying," Mbappe expressed.
Mbappé signed a five-year deal that will run until 2029 and will wear the club's No. 9 shirt.
