Former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has hailed the Spanish national team following their latest triumph in the European Championship.
Spain beat England 2-1 to win the Euros for a record fourth time at the Berlin Olympic Stadium on Sunday, July 14.
Athletic Bilbao youngster Nico Williams gave La Roja the lead early in the second half, before Cole Palmer came off the bench to equalize for the Three Lions.
Real Sociedad forward Mikel Oyarzabal grabbed a late winner for Luis de la Fuente's side in the 86th minute, after a sublime assist from Marc Cucurella, to seal a remarkable victory for Spain.
Spain finished their incredible campaign with a perfect record, winning all seven matches in the tournament.
Reacting to Spain's victory, Oliseh took to social media to praise the team, singling out the manager and some players for special recognition.
"Magnificent 7," he wrote on X. "Spain win 7 games in a row to become record European champions with 4 titles. Yamal, Williams, Olmo, Rodri, and coach De la Fuente have given me back my joy watching the European championship. What a team, what a football philosophy with youngsters. By far the best team."
