Inter Milan have initiated talks with Udinese regarding a potential transfer for Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, according to reports.
Sky Sport transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has disclosed that the Serie A champions are keen on securing the 24-year-old's services in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Nerazzurri are on the lookout for a young goalkeeper to serve as an understudy to Yann Sommer.
Okoye, who joined Udinese last summer, eventually became the club's first-choice goalkeeper after initially spending time on the bench.
The former Watford goalkeeper played a pivotal role in helping the club avoid relegation last season.
Okoye made 22 appearances for Fabio Cannavaro’s side, recording five clean sheets.
Maduka Okoye has three years remaining on his contract with Udinese.
