A Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a bail application filed the lawyers of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
In a ruling on Tuesday, March 19, Justice Binta Nyako, stated that the court cannot grant Kanu bail having rejected the earlier one.
She suggested that Kanu’s lawyers to appeal the earlier decision of the court refusing him bail.
Also, the separatist leader has called on the court to send him to Kuje prison rather than remain in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
According to him, the agency has failed to provide him with adequate medical facility to treat his ailment.
