The factional leader of the Indigenous People of Biafara (IPOB), Simon Ekpa has reacted to the charge of treason by the Supreme Court (SC) against his leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

In a post on Friday, December 15, 2023, Simon stated that he accurately predicted what is happening now.

He added that the Biafran government is the only hope its leader, Nnamdi has for his freedom, and he will regain that freedom soon.

Simon wrote: "I watch them from the mirror, before they finish planning, i know. It would’ve been a miracle if something else happened. Though, after I exposed their plan to adjourn the case till February, they changed it slightly last night. The Biafra government is the only hope of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu freedom and it will happen in due time."
