Leader of the Niger Delta Volunteer Force, NDVF, Alhaji Asari Dokubo, has described President Bola Tinubu’s government as the worst government Nigeria has ever had.
Speaking in a video shared on social media, Dokubo lamented the economic crisis in the country after supporting Tinubu during the presidential election.
He said;
“Ijaw people are already angry that this is the worst government. This government is against Ijaw people and you want to add petrol to fire? This is the worst government. That’s the feeling of the Ijaw people. If nobody is telling you, I will tell you. Ijaw people say this is the worst government for them. This is a nightmare for them. And when we are voting, when we were campaigning for you.
Rivers state is the litmus test. If there is going to be any fire, it will start in Rivers. I cannot stop them, I as an individual, I cannot stand in their way because they will shove me aside.”
His grievances comes after he was banned following some alleged derogatory comments he made while addressing the press after his meeting with Tinubu at the Presidential Villa.
Dokubo also slammed Tinubu over his appointments, saying that it was one-sided and dangerous to the well-being of Nigeria.
However, in a recent video making rounds, Dokubo noted that he cannot stand in the way of the government because they will shove him aside.
Reacting to his recent complain, some Nigerians have tackled him, saying it was too early for him to complain.
