More than thousands of Nigerians on social media have expressed their disgust at the flagbearer of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar for declaring his intention to run for presidency again in 2027.
Atiku during an address to the nation on the way forward for PDP, after the Supreme Court's judgement upheld Bola Tinubu's victory during the elections, stated that he is not going anywhere or quitting politics.
Reacting to his statement, a lot of Nigerians who have seen him run for the highest office of the country for four times, but had lost in all, were surprised he is still holding on to his aspirations to become president someday.
Some Nigerians questioned his motives, while others opined that he is just being too desperate.
