A video of a mob consisting of mostly men assaulting a middle-aged woman has emerged on social media.
The 36-second video that has now gone viral was shared on X (formerly called Twitter).
The video showed the moments the helpless woman was beaten and stripped as she made several attempts to protect herself from the angry mob.
According to an X user with the handle @danielmarven, the unidentified woman who works at an unspecified bank is linked to an armed robbery around the area.
"She works in a Bank, any time a customer comes to withdraw huge sum of money, she will always alert robbers. Somehow she ran out of luck on that particular day. The robbers were caught and during interrogation, they exposed her as their main informant," he said in his tweet.
The video has garnered several reactions and has been viewed four million times.
