The Presidential Election Petition Court has affirmed President Bola Tinubu as the winner of February 25 presidential election.

On Wednesday, September 6, the court struck out all the petitions filed by the Labour Party, the Peoples Democratic Party and the Allied Peoples Movement.

On the 25% requirement, the court also ruled that the Federal Capital Territory FCT, does not hold a higher status than other states in the country.

The court ruled that the Labour Party and Peter Obi failed to prove that President Tinubu was convicted in the United State of money laundering.
