The National Labour Congress(NLC) have gone on a nationwide protest today, August 2, 2023 to air their displeasure at the poor state of livelihood of the average Nigerian after Tinubu assumed power as president of the nation.
Thousands of Nigerians have joined in the protest as they complained bitterly about the high cost of food and everyday services.
A statement released by the NLC indicates the six expectation and demands the congress expects of the Tinubu government after this protest.
Parts of the statement reads: "We want to inform all Nigerians that we have just risen from a meeting with the Federal Government where we sought to get them to listen to the demands of the people and workers of Nigeria."
