The immediate past governor, Nyesom Wike has revealed he never slept out of the state house throughout his tenure as governor of the state.
Wike made the revelation at the National Assembly when he attended his ministerial screening
He said: "When I was governor, I have never slept outside my state. All through my years as governor, I slept in the state house."
Recall that Wike, a leading member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was named as one of the ministerial nominees expected to serve in President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Wike’s appointment comes after weeks of speculations that the former PDP and G5 governor would be appointed the serve in the All Progressives Congress, APC-led Tinubu’s government.
