A video has emerged of the bedeviling atmosphere of Enugu state as gunmen storm the streets to attack residents who fail to comply with the sit-at-home directive as announced by Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa.
In an attempt to demand the released of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, the separatist called for a week-long civil disobedience in the southeast.
Recall that the sit-at-home directive began in 2012, after the arrest of the leader of the Indigenous Leader of Biafra, IPOB.
Ekpa noted that the sit-at-home in the region will end when Nnamdi Kanu is release.
Some residents who failed to comply to the sit-at-home order were dealt with mercilessly.
Videos circulating on social media showed moments some residents were beaten, shot at for violating the directive.
