As the Presidential Election Petition at the Tribunal continues, the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi presented Eric Ofuegbu, a professor of Mathematics at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, as their 4th witness.
The Labour Party is contesting the victory of President Bola Tinubu as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
On Thursday, June 15, the LP also presented ARISE News Director of Operations, Lummie Edevbie, as a subpoenaed witness and 5th overall witness for the petitioners.
Although, Abubakar Mahmoud, the lead counsel for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) told the court that they were served the statement of the witness, Ofuegbu that morning.
However, Abubakar Mahmoud, the lead counsel for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) informed the Court that bringing the witness, ofuegbu on s ahort notice leaved the legal team at a disadvantage as they were served statement of the witness that Thursday morning.
Wole Olanipekun (SAN), the lead counsel for President Tinubu, on his part said he had no problem allowing the witness to testify.
Reacting to the witnesses presented by the Labour Party, several Nigerians have applauded Peter Obi for his move.
Some social media users said that while other candidates were preparing for the election, Peter Obi was focused on the aftermath as he foresaw the outcome.

So Peter Obi paid a Mathematics Professor, a statistician to carry out a data analysis on the election on the 20th of February and just kept quiet.
He saw this coming and that was why he insisted, nobody should add… pic.twitter.com/a0Zxvn9S6i
Same thing I said in February pic.twitter.com/8hTGZfLfXF

This same dude stayed in court for 3 solid years to reclaim what was stolen from him.

Moral lesson: don't you ever steal from Peter Obi. E get why
Tinubu’s problem is arrogance. The agbero Lagos politics he has played all his life made him think he is some kind of “strategist” ???????????? you look Obi wey become billionaire when you were trafficking drugs and thought you can steal from him?

I’m very much fascinated in this case but I’m skeptical of the actual outcome because I’m not sure the judiciary will give the correct ruling. It will take a miracle

Tinubu prepared for office and obi decided to prepare for court …that’s why one is in the office of the president and the other is in the court, they both got the results they prepared for.

So let obi keep the court busy and make tinubu keep Nigeria working ????????
