Many Nigerians have taken to social media to mourn the death of the democracy in their beloved country, Nigeria on Monday, May 29.
This comes on the heels of the inauguration of president-elect Bola Tinubu as the 16th president of the country following his victory in the February 2023 presidential elections.
According to some people, the day is a black one as they mourn the death of the country's democracy which was 'murdered' by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the All Progressives Congress (APC) which is headed by Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the country's judiciary.
However, some people have stated that the day isn't a black day for all Nigerians rather it is a black one for just Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and his supporters, Obidients.

Black Monday. Buhari and Mahmood killed democracy because of Tinubu. They are cursed, and their evil work will be reversed to them. We know who we voted for, and it wasn't Tinubu. God forbid that I call him my president. #TinubuIsNotMyPresident #PeterObiIsMyPresident pic.twitter.com/S2iXWqjt9I
