Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu is in an early lead as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC commences the collation of results from the 20 Local Government Areas.

The incumbent governor is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Olusegun Agbaje, 16 results are so far available at the collation center in Yaba. The other four are being awaited.

So far he had polled 593,614 votes, according to Vanguard.ng.
