The house of the former President-General of the Urhobo Progress Union, Chief Joe Omene in Mosogar, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State has been burned down by suspected thugs.

Chief Omene is a known supporter of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in the state.

It is not clear if there were any casualties at the time of filing this report.
