Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have arrived the polling unit of the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu PU06, Eiyekole, Adeniji Adele, Lagos.

Sanwo-Olu will bank his hopes on incumbency and completed projects since taking charge of in 2015.

While many have backed him to be re-elected, he faces stiff competition from the governorship candidate of the Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour who presidential candidate, Peter Obi surprisingly won the presidential elections in the state.

Polling units officially open at 8:30 am.
