A large crowd stormed the streets to jubilate as Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress is declared winner of the 2023 presidential election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission declared Tinubu the winner and president-elect at 4:00am on Wednesday, March 1.

As the pronouncement was made, a large number of Lagos residents hit the streets to celebrate.

The residents were seen wearing the flag of Nigeria as they chant his name "Jagaban".

Bola Tinubu won the election with 8,794,726 beating Peter Obi who polled 6,101,533 and Atiku Abubakar who scored 6,984520 votes respectively.
