A picture of Babatunde Raji Fashola, Minister of Works and Housing of Nigeria smiling as election results trickle has hit the trends on social media.

The photo was shared by Bashir Ahmad, a former presidential aide of President Muhammadu Buhari with the caption: "The smiling Fash will confirm to you that we have sealed this one. Lots of work ahead of 2027. Tinubu is our next President."

Fashola was seen in the photo monitoring the results of the election as the results came in.

So far, his principal, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has won seven states including; Ogun, Jigawa, Ondo, Oyo, Kwara, Ekiti and Benue.
