An aide to Atiku Abubakar, a frontrunner in the 2023 presidential race, has expressed hope that his principal will come tops by the time final results are declared.
Reno Omokri believes that with results trickling in so far, Atiku is getting the necessary votes from the north.
"Waziri Atiku is, in my opinion, looking good, and is best placed to emerge victorious," he said in a February 27 tweet adding that the election was tech-driven and that spoilers will be frustrated.
"#NigerianElections2023 is a tech driven election and any shenanigans will be detected and frustrated," his tweet added.
The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) has formally released results for Ekiti State, where All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu won by a huge margin over Atiku and Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi.
The National Collation Center in Abuja will resume declaration of results this morning even though results are being collated at the state levels.
