The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has cancelled voting in seven polling units in the Kogi East Senatorial district.

This comes following attacks from thugs who stormed the polling centres to disrupt the electoral process by firing gunshots.

Election proceedings in five polling units in Omala Community came to an abrupt end whereas two polling units Anyingba have also been shut down.
