The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of an eighteen-year-old man for possession of a locally fabricated firearm and two stolen phones.

This was confirmed by the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin who confirmed that the young man was apprehended during a stop-and-search exercise carried out by the patrol team from the Layeni division.

In a similar vein, Hundeyin said officers from Orile Division stopped 34-year-old David at School Bus-stop.

He was searched and found with a locally fabricated firearm and two live cartridges.
