The practice of women taking money from their male counterparts as transportation fee and intentionally failing to show up and using it for their own personal needs has become widespread in Africa.

A woman has been ordered by a court in Enugu, Nigeria, to pay a man N150K, for deliberately failing to appear.

The person who tweeted the story said the lady accepted N3K from the man to cover the cost of her transportation to see him, but she never showed up.

Later, the guy filed a deceitful lawsuit against her and won. The lady was required to pay the man a hefty N150K by the judge who heard the case.

The tweet garnered reactions from social media users who were happy about the judgement and noted that it would serve as a deterrent to other ladies who will try deceiving men for their money.
