Supporters of Peter Obi, have taken to social media to shower prayers on the presidential candidate of the Labour Party ahead of the 2023 election.

This prayers come after Peter Obi revealed that some people have refused to pick his calls for fear of been prosecuted for associating with him.

He said, "there are people who don’t pick my calls again because they don’t want to be prosecuted for associating with me."

Speaking in a Zoom call with some youth where they complained about the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN, freezing their bank accounts used for the Obidient movement, he said; “If they are blocking your accounts, you can imagine what they are doing to me.”

He also noted that his reason for running for president is for the Youths, children, unborn children. As he assure Nigerians that they will not regret helping to take back the country.

Reacting to his comments, Obidients across the globe have began praying for him. Many have taken to social media to urge other supporters of Peter Obi to remember him in prayer.

Some Obidients took to the microblogging platform, Twitter to share their prayers;

During the Zoom meeting with Peter Obi, Some Support groups complained bitterly about CBN freezing their bank accounts used for the Obidients movement. Peter Obi said “if support groups can be treated like this, imagine what I go through daily in their hands”
