Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Ibrahim Gusau on Tuesday held a meeting with the U17 Women’s team, Flamingos, ahead of important World Cup semi-final clash against Colombia.
The NFF Supremo, who arrived in Goa on Sunday, had a private meeting with the technical crew, before meeting the players.
Gusau then hosted the team in a dinner, after their last training session ahead of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup semi-final.
The new elected NFF boss will be in the stadium for the semi-final showdown at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa.
It is the first semi-final, starting at 4pm (12noon Nigeria time) with the second semi-final between Germany and Spain to kick off three-and-half hours later.Victory over Colombia will shoot the Flamingos into Sunday’s final.
