Nigerian Gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi has taken to social media to announce his plans of owning a gay club for homosexuals in Mushin, a community in Lagos State.

Bisi Alimi made the announcement in a post shared on his Instagram page where he shared a photo of a gay club in Copenhagen.

He wrote: “One day soon, there will be a club named ‘gay Lagos’ and I will own it and it will be in Mushin. One day very soon.”

Bisi Alimi is also a public speaker, blog writer and HIV/LGBT advocate who gained international attention when he became the first Nigerian to come out on television.
