A video circulating on social media showed that the GTBank in Lekki has been set on fire.

This was as result of peaceful protests by Nigerians in Lekki against police brutality and the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS), turning sour after heavily armed soldiers were unleashed on the protestors in an attempt to stop them.

"They thought guys are joking. In my whole life, I have never seen youth … Nigerian youth so determined. So determined for a change we are tired of this nation. We are tired of this country, we are tired of bad leaders. We are tired … we are frustrated, look at GTB … every where is burning," the person recording the video lamented.

It is however unknown who set the bank building on fire.
